Volunteer
There are many ways to help Afghan men and women strengthen communities, democracy and hope for a peaceful future.
As a non-profit organization, Afghans for Civil Society depends upon volunteer efforts to make our programs a success and to allow us to direct more money and energy to program participants.
Afghans for Civil Society welcomes general office volunteers for our Baltimore, MD U.S. headquarter office. If you live in the Metro Baltimore/DC area and would like to help, please contact our U.S. Coordinator by emailing to discuss volunteer opportunities.
There are also opportunities to assist ACS with selling khamak pieces in U.S. markets, helping with fundraisers, grant-writing and other tasks. If you would like to volunteer your valuable skills to assist Afghans for Civil Society, please do not hesitate to email.
Host an ACS Event
If you do not reside in the Baltimore/Washington, DC area, consider hosting an ACS event in your community.
In the past, individuals or organizations who have been interested in educating local communities on life in Afghanistan and supporting Afghans for Civil Society have hosted various programs and events. We find these events are remarkably helpful in getting the word out about our work in Afghanistan and life for Afghan citizens after war.
This network of thoughtful, compassionate citizens have been key to the success for Afghans for Civil Society and in ensuring Afghan citizens are aware that they remain in the hearts and minds of people all over the world. Thanks to their dedication, passion, and commitment to our mission, we are able to continue our work creating opportunity and develop democracy in Afghanistan.
