Afghans for Civil Society’s goal is to strengthen democracy and develop a strong civil society for all Afghan people. To succeed, support from friends, individuals and groups is essential. Your involvement will make a world of difference in the lives of Afghan citizens. Here is how you can get involved:

Donate

Help support ACS programs dedicated to developing democracy in Afghanistan by donating via credit card, check, stock donation, or other methods.

Your gift today will provide the tools Afghan citizens need to participate in democratic society and rebuild their lives, families and communities after decades of war.

Volunteers in the United States and Kandahar allow ACS to keep overhead costs minimal so every donation can support Afghan communities. Contributions are also tax-deductible. You can also mail donations to: c/o Afghans for Civil Society, 806 N. Charles St., Baltimore MD, 21201. Donors can even specify which program you would like ACS to apply the funds if any ACS projects particularly speak to your passion or interests.

Volunteer

Afghans for Civil Society is a grassroots organization made up entirely of volunteers whose passion and skills are vital to our success. Volunteers contribute in a myriad of ways, from assisting in event planning to helping our advocacy efforts in local communities.

Host an Event

If you do not reside in the Baltimore/Washington, DC area, consider sponsoring an event in your community. Past programs have proven a fundamental part to our success. Our volunteers from all over the world have helped ACS raise funds, host informational lectures, send aid to Afghanistan, deliver blankets, vitamins, school supplies and—most important of all, hope to Afghan people. Thanks to their dedication, passion, and commitment to our mission, we are able to continue our work creating opportunity and develop democracy in Afghanistan.

Raise Awareness about ACS Programs

Help us educate and promote Afghans for Civil Society by referring us to people who would benefit from our newsletters and mailings. Educate others about life in Afghanistan today, by passing alone emails or mailing you receive from us. Distribute brochures for Afghans for Civil Society in your local community. Make a presentation to your club, school, community or religious organization.
